Shiatsu or Natural Face Lift Massage is a perfect way to say thank you to your caring & hard-working mum, step mum, mother in law, or wife. Both treatments are incredibly relaxing, they are serious time-out, away from hectic life. They can help with energy levels & aid healthy sleep. They are a serious pamper session.

Shiatsu after the snow, Exeter, Dawlish, Exmouth, Devon

Wow what a lot of snow we got this week. 4 inches in a day brought Exeter to a standstill. Our young boys had a field day, sledging down the middle of our normally busy road.

Almost as quickly as it happened it has nearly completely gone. Temperatures have returned to to normal for this time of year, the rain has returned & the snow is only in the corners & under the trees.

After an enjoyable break from normal life, so few cars & people with time to stop & chat, now this week is back to normal.

I am practicing in Exeter & Dawlish this week. I have spaces on Tuesday & Wednesday in Exeter for either Shiatsu or Natural Face Lift Massage treatments.

I also have a Saturday clinic this Saturday & have spaces available at 2pm & 3.15. This will be in the real wood cabin in my garden in Exwick, Exeter. It’s the perfect space for a relaxing treatment.

Also this Sunday is Mother’s Day & I can send gift vouchers electronically if you want to treat your special mother to a Shiatsu or Natural Face Lift Massage.

So back into the swing of things – I missed giving Shiatsu over the snowy days so looking forward to a full week of nurturing & energising treatments.

I use Shiatsu on myself, my husband & children regularly. Not just for relaxation, although it’s great for that. My boys are noisy, energetic & enthusiastic so sometimes it is hard for them to settle at the end of the day.  It is a pleasure to give them a Shiatsu & watch them visibly calm down, breathe more deeply & slow down.  They often talk to me after a Shiatsu, or we play quietly together.  They also sleep well.

I use Shiatsu on myself to help when my mind is racing, I can slow myself down & think more clearly. I use it to help with digestion & menstruation. I have always suffered with painful periods & uncomfortable digestion, I can manage both a lot better with Shiatsu. I also use Shiatsu to support my motivation & mood.  I have in the past become stagnant & stuck in a rut but now I cam more adaptable & flexible & can make changes with more ease.

Obviously I am a fan of Shiatsu, I studied it for 3 years, alongside full-time work.  I can also pass on tricks & tips that I have learnt to help other people support their health & the health of their family.  I often give recommendations at the end of a session, lifestyle & diet options.  I also offer ideas of stretches or exercises that may help support their condition, complaint or their well-being.

I can offer longer Shiatsu appointments, at my home practice in Exeter.  These can include a full Shiatsu treatment plus guidance on ways to support you & your loved ones.

So very excited to receive a large parcel in the post today.

I was pretty upset when my trusty, but bottom of the range, massage chair broke just before Christmas. I was in the middle of a session of Shiatsus for the hard working staff at my son’s school. I had to give some of the Shiatsus to people whilst they sat on a normal chair. Hardly relaxing, having to support yourself, rather than leaning into a comfy chair.

Since the breakage I have been searching for a replacement. I was close to purchasing a replacement of similar quality to my original when I stumbled across a hardly used, top of the range chair.

I am super happy & have tried it out on my family already. It’s really comfy & easily adjusts to fit any shape or size of client.

So watch out for upcoming events as I will now be giving Shiatsu on this beauty of a chair.

As we get near to the end of the January there are just a few spaces left for a Natural Face Lift massage for just £10.

I’m offering case studies until the end of the month then I’ll be charging the full price for the treatments.

These are great massages. They help the face look fresh & relaxed & they affect the whole body, relieving tension & stress.

The massage uses Shiatsu points along with Japanese & Indian face massage techniques.

The full price will be £25 for a mini-massage & £40 for an hour deluxe massage.

Sunshine & Shiatsu – Exeter, Devon

What a lovely morning today, here in Exeter (shame about the really rotten, wet, windy & cold afternoon.)

The sun shone down on the wooden cabin & streamed in through the windows.

The birds came out & enjoyed themselves, just outside the shed window. They were chirping & twittering, eating the seeds we had put out for them & hopping around to get the ones that had dropped to the floor.

It was a really joy giving treatments this morning. The shed was warm & cosy & listening to the birds was perfect.

I gave Natural Face Lift massages today, & again I was impressed with the change in the clients faces after the treatment.

I enjoy giving these massages, I always slip some Shiatsu into the treatment. The points used on the face are Shiatsu points & also I get a sense of the whole body when just working the head, neck & shoulders.

What a pleasure giving such relaxing & nurturing treatments in such a perfect atmosphere. I definitely felt lucky that I do what I do!

Right now I am still offering Natural Face Lift massage treatments for just £10. This offer is going to head at the end of January though so not much time left to book.

I am offering case study treatments, I still need to check my notes now & again & I want to be confident the massage is of good quality. Once I’ve practiced enough these treatments will be £22 for 30mins or £40 for an hour.

The massage is so relaxing, the whole body feels the benefit. Clients have said their face feels tighter, bit more relaxed, that their eyes are wider & that their neck feels looser.

The massage involves Shiatsu points & Japanese & Indian face massage techniques. I use Grapeseed oil in the treatment.
