I have had a great week full of Shiatsu massage, treating lots of different people with different issues & concerns.

I feel really lucky to be qualified to give this subtle but powerful form of hands on therapy. It is so supportive, easing mental strain & providing relief.

This week I have had some incredible comments from clients about the effect Shiatsu is having on their lives.

One client said their pain levels are now manageable. How amazing after decades of pain.

Another client is up to her eyes with stress, both at work & home. She finds Shiatsu gives her a breather from her worries, she feels deep relaxation & an ability to carry on in her situation.

Also a client commented on how loose their shoulders & neck are now. She has no pain left & can move her neck with ease.

What a joy to be able to support people in this way & hear the positive changes.

So I’m offering Shiatsu massage tasters at Exeter Respect Festival this Sunday.  The tasters will be 30 minutes which is plenty of time to get an idea of what Shiatsu involves.  We are only charging £10 so it is really a bargain.

Exeter Respect is a lovely welcoming festival that celebrates the diversity of Exeter.  It is £2 entry for adults this year but then there are loads of things to see & do.

I have a few events coming up in July. Events are great as I am able to offer Shiatsu taster sessions at really affordable prices. This makes it accessible to anyone, it is a perfect opportunity to try Shiatsu out or get a cheaper treatment.

The first event is this Sunday at the Exeter Respect Festival, a family friendly event promoting diversity. I will be offer 30 minute taster sessions for £10 along with my two colleagues.  Details of the event can be found here

I am going to be at an event in Dawlish Warren on Saturday 14th July. SnookyFest is a family friendly event that raises money for a local charity, that supports people with physical illnesses.  I am going to be part of a team of therapists who work at The Studio in Dawlish, where I practice on a monthly basis.

I am also doing a local village event on Sunday 8th.  There’s going to be lots of stalls & things to do. Obviously you can also have a cheap Shiatsu taster.  

In April I had a very small piece of editorial in a new local magazine called Exwick News.

I didn’t think I would get much response but to my surprise I had a whole heap of enquiries & quite a few new clients.

It feels really special treating people in my local community, it’s a bit of support & care for those living close by.

It’s lovely that people can walk to have a treatment & then saunter home to rest & relax.

It feels a privilege to be able to offer the local community this unique hands-on therapy.

I’m in Exwick Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & some Fridays. I offer evening & Saturday appointments.
